Broadcasters mourn loss of Bud Brown

Albert "Bud" Brown, VP/GM of KTXS/KTXE-TV Abilene/San Angelo, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Oct. 25. He was 64.

Prior to joining the stations in 2012, Brown served as President/GM of WWL New Orleans. He lead that station duing their wall-to-wall coverage of Hurricane Katrina in 2005. The station won a Peabody Award for the coverage.

Services will be held Saturday, November 5 at 3 pm at Buffalo Gap Chapel (133 William Street, Buffalo Gap, TX 79508)
