TAB Salutes Winners of Bonner McLane, Lone Star Leader Awards

Texas Broadcasters will celebrate the outstanding contributions of 12 Texas Radio and Television stations at the 2025 TAB Show - August 6-7 at the Kalahari Convention Center in Round Rock, TX.

TAB presents the Bonner McLane Public Service awards to stations for their exceptional contributions and service to their local communities.

Bonner McLane was TAB’s first Executive Director. He passed away in 1987.

TAB is excited to celebrate the following stations:

• Small Television: KLST/KSAN-TV San Angelo
• Medium Television: KETK-TV Tyler-Longview
• Large Television: KUVN/KSTR-TV Dallas-Fort Worth
• Small Radio: KMHT Marshall
• Medium Radio: Bryan Broadcasting
• Large Radio: KERA Dallas-Fort Worth

The Bonner McLane Awards will be presented Thursday, Aug. 7 during the annual Awards Gala.

TAB's Lone Star Leader Awards honor the stations who have contributed the most to TAB's Public Education Partnership Program.

• Medium Television: KJTV Lubbock; KCRP-TV Corpus Christi
• Small Television: KGNS/KYLX-TV Laredo
• Large Radip: KONO San Antonio; KVIL Dallas-Fort Worth
• Medium Radiop: KRWR Tyler-Longview
• Small Radio: KWFB Wichita Falls

The Lone Star Leader Awards will be presented Wednesday, Aug. 6 at the "State of Play" Business Meeting.
