The Continental CTX Series UHF Solid State Television Transmitters utilizes the advanced energy efficient GaN devices in each of its liquid and air cooled transmitters.  This technology represents a leap forward in solid state affordability over the life of the transmitter. Not only are the capital costs comparable with other transmitter technologies, the operational costs are much lower because of the more efficient operation. You can expect efficiencies up to 50% on UHF channels.  RF output power levels are available up to 100kW.
