Emmis Austin Radio is a branch of Emmis Communications with a cluster of seven radio stations in north Austin including:  KLBJ-AM (590), KLBJ-FM (93.7), KGSR (93.3), KROX (101.5), KBPA (103.5), KLZT (107.1), and Latino 102.7.

Emmis Austin Radio is seeking a full-time Video Content Producer to shoot and edit interviews, concerts, promotional and marketing events as well as create shareable content for all of our stations’ social media platforms.  Candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have a high tolerance for colorful workspace and personalities. 

Duties include but are not limited to:
Coordinates and executes video campaigns to promote lifestyle related messages that increase awareness about the brands and drive traffic to station websites
Work with the product team to create and achieve video content goals for the brands
Research topics relevant to the day’s news and what’s new in Austin, entertainment, and lifestyle in general
Create shareable videos for social media accounts like Facebook and Snapchat
Create video content from the studio as well as from live events with behind the scenes video content about the studio/show
Meets all deadlines
Other duties assigned as needed

Expertise with industry-level video, audio & lighting equipment
Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects expertise is required
Comfortable with Apple devices & software
Proficiency in Microsoft Word & PowerPoint
Quick & efficient video editor with a minimum of two years’ experience
Adept in motion graphic design
Formal education in videography work is highly recommended
Bilingual a plus
Bachelors or Associates degree preferred.  High school diploma or equivalent required
Accustomed to working with & meeting strict project deadlines
A team player, extremely resourceful, an excellent communicator and an efficient multitasker
Detail-oriented and an independent worker
Has a great eye for dynamic &/or ambient content
Excels under pressure
High tolerance for colorful workspace & personalities
Deep experience and savvy with Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc)
Innovative and an idea generator
Able to work in a fast paced environment and work well under pressure
Able to work flexible hours and maintain a positive attitude
Work nights and weekends as-needed
Candidates must work well independently and within a team environment as well
Valid driver license and state mandated auto insurance required
