Job Summary/Description:  
KFDA, Newschannel10, the market leader is looking for a Morning Show Reporter to join our winning team here in Amarillo, Texas. This position will perform daily live shots, breaking news coverage as well as a back-up anchor for AM newscast. This position will be fast paced with tight deadlines and require someone who can think on their feet. We are looking for a good story teller who wants to learn in a winning Team. The right candidate will be able to perform creative live shots in a clear and concise delivery.

We are searching for a driven journalist to fit this stringent role. You will be an integral part of the top news team in the area, bringing unique local stories, from enterprising ideas to telling polished, effective stories live on-air and digital platforms.

Please note, the primary job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the information listed.

• Ability to shoot and edit video, and effectively communicate live on-air
• Flexibility in scheduling, to respond to the changing news landscape
• A four-year degree in journalism or related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Enjoy a fast paced environment with a desire to win
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Required: Bachelors or better in Journalism or related field.
