SALES ASSISTANT

KAGS-TV in Bryan/College Station, Texas, a TEGNA Media subsidiary, has an immediate Sales Assistant opening, a clerical and support person for the sales staff.  This position assists Sales Staff and Management in all aspects of entry and maintaining orders, running varies reports, producing packages and presentations, calling prospects and scheduling appointments for sales staff, and covering front desk and varies office duties.

Job Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

·Responding appropriately to incoming calls and emails from clients

· Proper paperwork and order entry with high level of accuracy

· Pulling reports as needed, including pre-logs, post-logs, invoices, late-runs, audience delivery/post-buy analysis reports, etc.

· Working with sales staff and clients in researching and resolving discrepancies

·Working with traffic operations as needed

· Assisting maintenance and updating of sales support material, including our Intranet sales site as well as physical files

· Preparing multimedia presentations and supporting documents

·Coordinating sales project merchandising and promotional support

· Occasionally participating in outside sales functions / presentations

· Being a positive and professional representative of TEGNA and our multiple advertising platforms

·Entering makegoods

· Answering phone calls

· Entering and monitoring underdelivery

Job Requirements:

·Strong organizational and time management skills

·Dependability and punctuality

·Excellent follow-through and detail orientation

·Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPo

 Good interpersonal skills – get along well with others
