Details:
The Director of Sales reports to the General Manager and works closely with other department managers to consistently deliver on the station’s strategic goals for growth. We are looking for an energetic leader who will build on the success of our integrated marketing sales team. A successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and be visible in the station and in the community. Responsible for achieving all revenue goals by creating a plan, communicating, and cultivating that plan.

Experience:
• Meet and exceed sales quota using Nexstar’s growing suite of products.
• Ability to manage a client pipeline and project revenue.
• Fluency in ad technology and video advertising with strong communication and presentation skills.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• 3+ years experience in selling TV, Video and Digital.
• Strong attention to detail and an excellent team player.
• Familiarity in using Microsoft Office suite of products.
• Experience selling across multiple advertising products.
• Fluency in ad technology and video advertising with strong communication and presentation skills.
• Self-starter capable of flourishing in high-growth environments.
