DTV Progress Report form nears completion

The Federal Office of Management and Budget released a “model”¯ version of the DTV Progress Report form that TV stations have to file with the FCC by Feb. 19.
However, the form is not yet legally effective because it hasn’t been published in the Federal Register.
Scott Flick, attorney with Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman, said that as the model makes clear, the form is not available for electronic completion by stations.
Flick said FCC staff indicated they will be releasing a public notice indicating that the Form 387 filing deadline will be February 19, 2008.
