Newsroom Workshop

Make plans to head to UT-Austin on Saturday, Oct. 4 for the Southwest Broadcast Newsroom Workshop. The day-long even includes group and concurrent sessions on a variety of topics for broadcast newsroom personnel.
Location: UT-Austin (Communications Bldg. A)
Parking: Limited street parking is available around CMA. The only nearby UT parking garage operating Saturdays is the San Jacinto Garage (SJG), about 2.5 blocks away from CMA. Cost: $10.
Hotel Info: Most downtown Austin hotels run $190+. Economical hotels nearby the U.T. campus include:
