Calrec has consistently pushed technology barriers, like the revolutionary, award-winning Bluefin 2 HD-DSP system, where just one DSP card can provide over 1000 fully featured channels. Calrec announced a new range of consoles in 2009. Each provides unmatched ease and flexibility for operators, with Apollo the large format console (up to 320 faders, 12 dual A/B layers, an 8KSq Router, and 1020 channels), and Artemis, a scaled version with 640, 320, and 240 channel packs. At TAB, the Artemis console takes center stage. Artemis features up to 640 paths and up to 64 dual layer faders, with up to twelve pairs of A/B layers. All IO is over Hydra 2 Networking, with point to point routing, multiple wallboxes for every type of IO, and which are simply connected over fiber or copper.
