I started out in radio as an intern at WSHB in Raeford, North Carolina. After moving to Arizona, I obtained my degree in Radio/TV Broadcasting from Arizona State University and worked in radio at KCKY in Coolidge, Arizona. When my wife and I started our family, I felt compelled to leave the radio business and get into the computer field, which I have been in since 1984. For the past 7 years, I've been associated with 92.1 FM, KXEZ in Allen, TX. KXEZ is the leader in high school sports broadcasting in the Dallas Metroplex, doing 25-30 football, 25 basketball and 10-15 baseball games a year and I've done the play-by-play for all of them. I have done a morning sports report on KXEZ as well. I have also done games on the Internet for Texas State Radio Network. I have filled in for the morning man while he has been vacation and am perfectly comfortable doing on-air activities. I can write advertising copy, news copy and other copy very well. I have even sold time for the station! I can be a board op as well. Needless to say, I'm totally comfortable around computers and networks.
