KSWO-TV, in Lawton, OK, is seeking a Morning Meteorologist to join our weather team. The SkyWARN 7 Weather team has a long tradition of being the severe weather leader in this two state television market. We use Weather Central?s: Live and 3D: Live, as well as Baron?s FasTrac and VIPIR. The successful candidate will share our commitment to cover severe weather in tornado ally, and be willing to work a variable work schedule. In addition to preparing and delivering on-air weather forecasts, responsibilities include updating our website and 24/7 weather channel, editing weather video, and making public appearances. Strong on-air skills, computer and communications skills are essential. A Meteorology, Atmospheric Science, or related field degree is required; at least one year broadcast experience is preferred.
