KTXS-TV is searching for an Engineer that knows about Broadcasting but has a passion for IT. KTXS-TV is a four-station operation in Abilene , TX that leads the market and is looking for candidates that thrive in a team-based environment. Responsibilities include maintaining computer and network equipment and the software required to keep them operating at maximum efficiency. Experience with Window-based server platforms, Windows Administrator, and firewalls required. Experience with studio and transmitter maintenance a plus and backup duties for other engineers will be required. The ability to troubleshoot, multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment are critical. Candidate should have a valid driver's license and clean driving record, be able to lift 75 pounds, and be able to work overtime on occasion. Qualifications: two-year degree or equivalent work experience in Information Technology or Broadcast Engineering. No phone calls please.
