Job Description KHOU has an immediate opening for a Sales Assistant. This person may be responsible for providing administrative support to the Director of Sales and Marketing/ Sales Managers and Account Executives. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to, order entry, order reconciliation, general administrative support, coordinating special events, handling travel arrangements for departmental staff and guests, maintain departmental attendance records, processing and reconciliation of departmental expense reports, and ordering and maintaining office supplies. Additionally, the selected candidate will assist the Sales Department with various sales related tasks, such as posting client buys, preparing inventory reports, tracking adjustments, etc.

Candidates with 5-10 years secretarial/administrative experience and a college degree preferred. Other qualifications preferred are: Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and have the ability to prioritize and juggle multiple competing tasks and demands; Knowledgeable of a variety of computer software applications, such as Microsoft Office; Ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization; must be organized, able to work with minimum supervision, and have a professional demeanor at all times. This position may require overtime.
