Job Description	KUT / NPR Radio Underwriting Sales DO YOU LOVE PUBLIC RADIO? Position Overview Public Radio Partners is seeking a determined and persuasive sales professional to join our public radio sales team at KUT in Austin, Texas. Candidates will be responsible for the sale of 15-second corporate sponsorship messages, print ads and events along with other marketing related products. This is an outside sales position where successful sales reps develop new business by cold-calling and following a consultative sales approach. Summary of Corporate Sponsorship Sales Daily life for an account executive in public broadcasting is similar to that of a salesperson in commercial broadcasting or local print media. An account executive is expected to make cold-calls to decision makers at local and regional businesses, meet with them to understand their marketing needs and develop proposals that offer marketing solutions to help them grow their business. Requirements for Selling KUT The position requires excellent and professional communication and presentation skills. The successful candidate must possess the ability to persuade, manage their time, prioritize effectively and be goal oriented. The position requires 3 years of media or marketing related sales experience and a 4 year college degree.
