KXXV-TV News Channel 25 is looking for a Morning Technical Director to direct/technical direct live newscasts. Responsibilities include create graphics for newscasts using Photoshop, operate and have working knowledge of all production equipment in control room, fill-in other production positions as needed, and take a leadership role with the production crew and act as a liaison between news and production. Qualified candidate must have excellent communication skills, the ability to coordinate tasks with other personnel, have advanced computer skills, and the ability to perform physical labor such as climbing ladders and lifting heavy equipment. Education and/or work experience in television is a plus. Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license required.
