KWES-TV NewsWest 9 is looking for a Meteorologist to prepare and deliver weather forecasts for broadcast. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing the station’s weather philosophy of first-on, last-off for severe weather events, and updating weather forecasts for website and radio partners in a clear and concise manner. We are looking for a team player with a passion for tracking severe weather to represent the station in the community. Meteorology/Atmospheric science degree or equivalent credentials required; AMS or NWA Seal preferred and bilingual in Spanish is a plus. Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.
